Preface
Senku is an autodidact, a genius with an exceptionally high IQ, an eidetic memory and a hyperfixation on all branches of STEM, as they're all tied together.
An out of the box thinker, it's clear that Senku's mind doesn't work like other people's does. He finds an interest and studies it until there is no more knowledge left to find. He's an innovator. While he's only moderately creative, as creativity is a skill he lacks, he likes to put a spin on things that exist. If he can see a problem, he'll work to solve it.
Senku's determination cannot be matched.
Dr. Senku Ishigami
Skills: Diagnostics, Surgery, Virology and how illness works, Western and Eastern medicine, Knowledge, Medical testing, Treatment.
Senku is
not a specialist, more like a general practitioner.
Senku is the known world's only doctor. However, he did not attend medical school, he was too young and grades cannot be skipped in Japan.
Training: Spurred on by a mental problem of what if there was a biological attack, what would he do? Senku did not accept 'I don't know' as an answer. From ages 12-16, he attended no less than eight different training programs around the world. [ch. 156] He studied knowledge pertaining to illnesses, injuries and how to treat them. The only program detailed was the trip he took to Africa to study Ebola. [ch. 4, callback ch. 156]
Evidence: He demonstrates a knowledge of Chinese medicine, not just Western medicine, based on looking at various plants that Chrome has collected. [ch. 19] He uses these plants to create a poultice for Gen's wounds when Magma tried to kill him. [ch.26] He knows antibiotics do a lot of heavy lifting, even without being able to see his patient just from hearing Ruri's condition. He also demonstrates a knowledge of modern testing he can't do. [ch. 20] Demonstrates a knowledge of diagnostics when he finally gets to see Ruri, as well as how to spot illness effects in tissue when he does the autopsy of the dead mouse, as well as how the body reacts to antibiotics. [ch. 41]
Horrible bedside manner aside, Senku treats a spear wound with a fever reducer, a painkiller and an antibiotic. [ch. 47] He demonstrates various skills in regards to Tsukasa's injuries - he gives him a blood transfusion, and operates as a general surgeon to close up a puncture wound in the lungs. He also recognizes the signs of sepsis and realizes at this point in time, that's a losing battle. He uses cold storage to freeze Tsukasa's body to prevent degeneration. [ch. 83] He treats seasickness with scopolamine. [ch. 102]
Beyond his canon point: Senku demonstrates knowledge to treat severe bullet wounds where the fragments have gone clean through. [ch. 160] He discusses treatment for blood pooling in the lungs, and how to administer a chest tube. [ch. 163] More bullet wounds are treated. [ch. 177]
Biologist
Skills: Botany, Ecosystem, Evolution, Virology, Immunology, Medicine, Zoology, Genetics
Training: It's presumed that Senku read extensively in this subject between the ages of 4 and 16. [ch. 42]
Evidence: Senku identifies which plants are edible, and which are not. [ch. 2] He identifies creatures and posits a hypothesis about how it is they've evolved in Japan when they weren't originally native to the country. [ch. 3] He demonstrates knowledge of quick, painless deaths. [ch. 10] He figured out the effects of the depetrification on the human body. [ch.12 and beyond] He noticed when the prey left and assumed a predator had moved in. [ch. 14] Senku is this world's only doctor. [see: medicine]
He speculates about who started the village. [ch. 17] Senku identifies plants used in traditional Chinese healing. [ch. 19], he identifies foxtail mullet as well as knows how to process it for consumption [ch. 22]
Linguistics
Senku is multilingual.
Japanese: This is his native language and he's been speaking it since he was able to talk.
English: Senku learned English through brute force and a dictionary, complimented with his education beginning when he was nine. He learned very quickly that the majority of research papers are in English and not translated over. He has gained a mastery over the language through practice with his long time pen pal Xeno Wingfield. (Dr. X) He has technical knowledge in the scientific fields. While he's fully fluent and proficient, he has a fairly thick accent because speaking English is not something he's done at length.
Russian: One of the languages not required, but shadow-necessary for going into space, as Russia is a major component of the International Space Station, Senku learned this language in preparation for the day he would finally get to see the stars for himself. Byakuya also speaks Russian, and it's likely he learned with his help, or at least practiced with him.
Dutch: Siebren's taunting of Senku left him a bit miffed and what's a boy to do except get himself a nice English to Dutch dictionary and start learning! He doesn't study as much as he should, and he hasn't placed much of an importance on it. He's a beginner. He can probably manage conversational Dutch at this point. His accent is horrendous. Never let it be said he'll hold back when spite's involved!
Physicist
Skills: Mental Calculation, Knowledge, Formulae, Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Relativity, Molecular/Particle Physics, Optics, Accoustics, Quantum Mechanics, Astrophysics, Cosmology, Applied Physics, Theoretical Physics
If Senku had a favourite field of science, Physics would be it.
Training: It's presumed that Senku read extensively in this subject between the ages of 4 and 16. [ch. 42] One of the first books Senku read on the subject was about how electricity works. [ch. XX] Senku expresses his love of the stars very young, including such burning questions about why the moon is following him. [ch. XX] How the universe works is by far the biggest question Senku has. [ch. XX]

Let's Talk Diversion
Outside of his scientific pursuits, here are some things Senku is interested in, and the level of which he's interested in them.
Mythology: A moderate level of interest. He enjoys knowing the stories and he likes to use them ironically, like naming the device that wrecked the world Medusa and their ship Perseus. He demonstrates knowledge of both Greek myths and Japanese myths.
Cryptography: Senku is fascinated with this. Outside of his hacking skills, he knows at least three different ciphers. (Morse Code, Wabun Morse Code and Uesugi Cipher) His proficiency borders on fluent at that.
Fiction: Senku has a low-to-moderate level of enjoyment around fiction. He enjoys tearing apart inaccurate science. He's not driven to seek it out though. He enjoys some science fiction books, and growing up his favourite anime was Doraemon.
Non-Fiction: Now we're talking. Senku has a much higher level of enjoyment with something he can watch or read and
learn something.
Video Games: Senku has a moderate level of enjoyment of video games. Mainly used to connect with his friend Taiju, he prefers games that allow him to go wild with the crafting and gathering...not at all prophetic...
Pretentious Titles
Senku holds a wide variety of jobs around the Kingdom of Science and Ishigami Village. While he holds many titles, he doesn't require anyone use any of them.
Leader: The present Leader of the Kingdom of Science, and founder he presently reigns over a population of about 150, with roughly 50 other allies through diplomatic means. He is, as far as he knows, the leader of all of humanity presently on the planet. The power is a means to an end, and his succession plans include Ryusui, when the population gets to be too much to handle without some diplomacy. As Ryusui put it, "Someday, one scientist genius isn't going to be enough." Senku has no problem with this.
As a leader, Senku is beloved. He might be rough around the edges, but he has hard won earned respect and the people of his kingdom would gladly lay down their lives for him.
Chieftain: Senku's official title in Ishigami Village, it's an honour that was won through combat. Whatever succession plans they have, don't include him giving up this title. As the victor, he briefly married the priestess and subsequently divorced her when it was too much of a hassle. While the villagers initially didn't know what to think of him, his quick thinking and saving of Ruri allowed them to be easily won over. Since then, Senku has done a great many things to improve quality of life, even though he doesn't
have to, and that's why they love him.
Doctor: Senku is offered the respect he's earned by being the village doctor. He takes good care of his patients, even if he's not the most compassionate, and he never promises something he can't deliver on. He works tirelessly at any time when he's needed.
General: As the Leader of the Kingdom of Science and the Chief of Ishigami Village, a founding member and with his intelligence and knowledge he was a prime candidate to become a member of the Five Wise Generals. While they technically all hold the same status within the group, they have yet to challenge Senku's authority. It's more of a technocratic council than anything else.
Lead Engineer: Senku designates roughly 97% of the projects undertaken in the Kingdom of Science. He designs what they're doing and gives the knowledge and science behind it. The remaining projects are mainly picked up by Chrome, Kaseki and occasionally Francois. While he's not gatekeeping knowledge, per se, he just has a lot more knowledge over anyone else and they're all happy to take his guidance.
Civic Planner: Senku has been designing some of how the village works and revamping it. Notable changes include the creation of a lab, forge, glass forge, hydroelectric generator, medical area and school.
