Dr. Senku Ishigami
Dr. Senku Ishigami is the present Head of Scientific Innovation and Development, representing the Kingdom of Science. He presently leads a worldwide network of scientific minds focusing on the rebuilding of societies everywhere focusing on both quality of life, as well as future innovations.
An incredibly decorated individual, recognized on a global scale for his invention of the revival fluid which allowed for the rescue of billions of trapped, petrified people. He was a member of the three man team sent to the moon to confront Whyman, and came back with a specimen intent on furthering humanity's grasp of science.
Senku's doctorate was awarded based on his accomplishments as there is no higher education in his world. He also remains a general in the army of the Kingdom of Science, remains the Chief of Ishigami Village, and while he had been at the head of the kingdom, he retired and keeps close ties with the current leader, Ryusui Nanami.
Presently much of his work involves coordinating worldwide scientific cooperation, and furthering the research into Whyman, focusing extensively on creating and understanding the science behind time travel.

appearance
Senku's facial scars have been gone for two years at this point in time. He's most often seen in his work clothes, a suit with a labcoat. He is never without his village rope, in some fashion. Off the clock, he often wears his old leather tunic, far more comfortable in that than anything.
abilities
background
Senku was born to unknown parents, that were friends to a man named Byakuya Ishigami. All indications suggest they did not die, but through some twist of fate, Byakuya wound up adopting him, giving him the Ishigami name. As early as 3/4 years old, Senku was already in Byakuya's custody. He was also already reading books far above his level. Inquisitive and constantly asking questions like why the moon seems to be following him, it sparked an interest in science.
Byakuya appreciated his son's fervor and sold his car to outfit Senku with all the scientific tools he could possibly want and watched his kid run, far outpacing his own knowledge by the time he was six years old. A failed astronaut candidate, he instilled in Senku a deep love of space. He couldn't temper Senku's knowledge, but he did frequently explain to him that fun was vitally important to people, as is relaxation. That was one of the gifts he gave Senku, who was not at all inclined to think of things like that in the first place.
When Senku was six he began experimenting with rockets, and at nine he built a TENS suit to train Byakuya in swimming so he would pass his next astronaut qualification. While it didn't help, it did motivate him and at that time Byakuya was a certified member of JAXA. Senku would continue to invent, tinker and work on rocketry. His third rocket, when he was roughly thirteen made it up into low orbit for a few minutes before exploding. He'd pushed his limits to how far he could go as an individual. He then shifted his focus to medicine after his NASA-based mentor asked him about biological weapons. 'I don't know how to fix that' is not an acceptable answer to Senku.
When Senku was fifteen, the world was engulfed in a mysterious green light that petrified all of humanity. Completely trapped and bewildered, he took the drastic action of counting the amount of time so he could understand it when he broke free. That would last for the next 3700+ years. He broke free of the petrification by chance, finally, April 1st, 5738. He remained alone as, what he believed, the only man on the planet until October, when Taiju finally broke free. His greatest invention came about in the winter of 5739, and so there was a reliable method of waking up people from the stone.
He would become separated from Taiju and his girlfriend Yuzuriha due to a conflict with Tsukasa and discovered a village of descendants of the astronauts that had been in orbit when the planet was attacked. That group included his father and the idol Lillian Weinberg. He would go on to establish himself as the Chief of the village and rally both factions to ultimately work for the betterment of mankind. They would travel across to the United States and encounter another faction comprised of his NASA-based mentor, Xeno Wingfield. After conflict that was resolved through the worldwide petrification being activated once more, Senku would spend another seven and a half years in stone.
When they were back to being ambulatory, it was time to seriously ramp up development. As they began to establish communities around the world, he finally stepped down as the leader of the Kingdom of Science and let Ryusui take charge - although he was ultimately still calling the shots, he just did have to run the social side of things any longer. He would throw himself into science in the coming years, developing rockets to take the fight to Whyman on the moon. The Senku 11 was launched in 5754. He was in space for a couple of weeks total, and negotiated with Whyman. One of the AI units came back with him, while the rest left the planet, disgusted with humanity's lack of technology, even though they were the ones who caused the fall of civilization.
Since his return to Earth, he's been mostly involved in pushing for the development of sustainable, green scientific advancements, and the pursuit of new scientific avenues through worldwide cooperation. At the moment, things are peaceful, but he knows that won't last forever.
